The Quality Improvement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, and facilitating practitioner (physician and mid-Levels) performance improvement activities in accordance with the process defined in the Wellstar Medical Staff Peer Review Policy. Activities include consultation/research, data collection, comparison, reporting, analysis, facilitation of recommendations for improvement, and support of medical staff performance improvement committees.
Required Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. Licensed Registered Nurse with current Georgia License.
Required Minimum Experience: Minimum of five (5) years clinical nursing experience; general medical/surgical experience preferred.
Required Minimum Skills: Experience in data collection methodologies and basic interpretation. Computer skills required: MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Trendstar or similar database applications preferred. Detail oriented. Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills.
