Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
UNM Hospitals Neurosurgery is currently seeking a motivated Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join their highly specialized team. This is a great opportunity to work with adult neurosurgical patients in clinic and hospital settings. Provider responsibilities include inpatient floor management, neurosurgery clinic, hospital consults and occasionally assisting in the operating room.
Rotating schedule of 12 hour shifts!
Will accept new graduates!
Relocation reimbursement is available!
Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician Assistant Accredited Program Graduate
1 year directly related experience; 3 years preferred
Specialization in applicable area preferred
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Nursing or Physician Assistant Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners and Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
Prescriptive Authority from the State of New Mexico
Federal DEA Certification
CPR Certification for Healthcare/BLS Providers or for Professional Rescuers or must obtain within 30 calendar days of date of position
ACLS or PALS (as applicable) within 30 days of hire
Pediatric Nursing Certification as applicable
