Stroke Nurse Coordinator – Neurology Steward Health Care, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Brighton, MA Full-time
St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, in Brighton, MA is currently seeking an experienced full-time Nurse to join our expanding neurology department as the coordinator for the Stroke Program. The Nurse will collaborate with hospital clinical and administrative leadership and professional organizations to facilitate the development of the Stroke Service at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center (SEMC), participates in meetings as appropriate to assure effective communication, and provide expertise in the areas of stroke specialization. The Stroke Nurse Coordinator shall develop and promote a standard of care consistent with decreasing inpatient resource utilization, and contribute to service excellence at the hospital and outpatient level in accordance with the goals established in the guidelines of JCAHO and SEMC policies and procedures.
RN degree required
Two to five years of experience in Neurology preferred
