We have a great opportunity for an RN to gain experience working with a wide variety of patients working in our Float Pool as a RN Resource in Float Pool. The position is fast paced, requires critical thinking, partnering with unit staff to provide excellence in patient care and offers many learning opportunities
The RN Resource Float Pool position is 60 hours in two weeks or a ..75 FTE, night shift, 12 hour shifts including working every ETW weekend.
The ICU Resource Float position covers and/or floats to all patient care areas: SICU/NEURO, MICU, CVICU, Tele, Solid Organ Transplant, BMT IMC and all M/S units. Provides Code Blue, RRT, Code 21, Stroke Code response and other emergent response, and transports critical patients to test/procedures or higher level of care.

The RN in the float pool is responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices.
MN RN Licensure
A minimum of one year current medical surgical float RN experience or RN ICU experience in a hospital setting
Certification in a related specialty is highly desired
