Are you ready to make the move from Step Down, Progressive or Transitional Care into an ICU environment? ChristianaCare is offering an ICU Float Fellowship for experienced Registered Nurses. Highlights:
About the Fellowship: This unique program is a combination of classroom and clinical experiences. Participants will work under the supervision of experienced critical care nurses for the length of the program. This program is a 24-26 week program that prepares nurses for the rigor of the ICU setting. Nurse Fellows will rotate between our Neuro Critical Care Complex, Surgical Critical Care Complex, Cardiovascular Critical Care Complex, our Medical ICU and our Wilmington ICU. This Fellowship is only open to experienced nurses, who wish to work in our ICU setting. No new grads will be considered. Participants will agree to sign a commitment agreement to work at the Christiana Care Health System for approximately two years as a member of the our ICU Float Pool upon program completion. Requirements for Application Process: 1. Attach a cover letter describing why you feel qualified and ready for this ICU Fellowship. 2. Two Letters of reference: One from a peer and another from a member of leadership on a unit where you have frequently worked. Leadership may include: Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Educator or Providers. This will be requested after interview with recruiter, but prior to interview with hiring manager and team. 3. Attach a 1-2 page exemplar describing how you advocated for a clinically critical patient and made a difference in the outcome.
