Summary Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services/Shift Manager/Designee, the Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the pre-admission environment. Responsible for using good communication skills when interviewing patients, alleviates anxiety when appropriate and assists in chart completion for surgery.
Qualifications:
Requirements CA RN license
PALS
ACLS
Acute care experience
5+ years recent (within 6 months) telemetry experience
Must job shadow in department through the "Walk A Mile In My Shoes" program
