ChristianaCare, a thirdly-designated Magnet organization headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware is searching for a transformational nursing executive for the position of Vice President Perioperative Services. This senior nursing leader is responsible for the delivery of safe, high quality, patient centric clinical care in Christiana Care's Perioperative departments located in Delaware! The Vice President (VP) provides overall organizational leadership for clinical operations, performance improvement, and financial performance for perioperative services at ChristianaCare (CC) for the Wilmington and Newark Campuses. Position Highlights: Develops and fosters effective collaboration between clinical departments and other affiliated services to ensure an integrated approach to providing perioperative care that enables the mission of ChristianaCare. Effective liaison and intermediary between perioperative leaders and health system leadership, and the various clinical departments who are primary stakeholders Drives operational excellence throughout the service area and leads growth of the service line volume, development of new programs and advancement of existing ones Expected to work closely with physicians and nurse leaders as well as the ChristianaCare operational leadership team to ensure that there is a consistent leadership vision fulfilling our mission to improve the health of the people in our community Position Qualifications:
