Registered Nurse Lead, RN- Duke Raleigh - ICU - Night Shift Job Summary: The Registered Nurse Lead RN is a role developed to workin coordination with the nursing leadership in an assigned unit or department to ensure the work is accomplished effectively. The Registered Nurse Lead RN is the first line support for staff, physicians and other related providers on service-specific clinical issues. The Clinical Lead RN is generally a long-term role, requiring clinical and interpersonal skills. The Registered Nurse Lead RN collaborates with the manager on clinical and non-clinical issues (employee relations, individual behaviors, physician relationships ,etc.). The Registered Nurse Lead RN is the support for the unit/department/service when the manager is unavailable. The Clinical Team Leader is responsible for supervising, directing, coaching and mentoring their assigned core group of staff. Education, and Experience Required: Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing required. Experience Three years of experience in nursing practice. Selected candidates must meet the Clinical Ladder requirements for CN III within one year of appointment. Degrees, Licensures, Certifications Must have current or compact RN license in the State of North Carolina. BCLS certification is required.
