Nurse Practitioner (Sleep Medicine)
The Advanced Care Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Sleep Medicine is a member of an interdisciplinary team providing subspecialty services to patients with sleep disorders. The Sleep Medicine ARNP works under the direction and supervision of a licensed physician with delineated clinical privileges granted by the Medical Staff. Within the physician/ARNP relationship, ARNPs exercise autonomy in medical decision-making and provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Participates in electronic consult (E-consult) triage program. Consult intake, triage, and completion. Participates in PAP adherence monitoring program. Monitoring of PAP adherence reports with patient notification and assessment. Outpatient sleep clinic
