Acute Care Opportunities 

Our Acute Care units are fast paced units that include high acuity patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our Acute Care leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building each team member.  

Patient Population: Chest Pain, Heart arrhythmias, Renal Failure, Pneumonia, Sepsis, Congestive Heart Failure, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder, as well as neurological patients.   General population average is 50% Telemetry and 50% Neuro.

Unit selling points: The Leadership team of 3 Jonsson is highly engaged and promotes teamwork and a healthy work environment.  Our unit moto is “Heartfelt care without missing a beat”, which promotes our Compassion Before Action culture.  The department has adopted the phrase “with each other for each other” for all staff members highly value teamwork in the department. In today’s very challenging work environment this unit understands fully the importance of effective teamwork and it is evident in our daily practice. We have an out-of-count charge nurse who is able to help the nurses throughout their shift.  Our team earned the highest score in the hospital at 94% for staff engagement in the People Survey for 2020
