IU Health Physicians is expanding our APP presence in the East Central Region! We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Emergency Medicine teams at IU HealthBall Memorial Hospital in Muncie and IU Health Jay Hospital in Portland!
Position Details:
Full-time
Rotating Shifts:
Ball Memorial: Shifts in the ED: 6a-4p, 10a-8:30p, 3:30p-1:30a, 8p-6:30a
Shifts in the Observation Unit: 6a-6:30p, 6p-6:30a
Jay Hospital: 10-hour shifts. Exact times to be determined but will likely be mid-shift 10a-1p start - 8a-11p end > Staffed 24/7 with 1 physician.
Split will be determined based on candidate interest and need; Minimum - in either direction - will be 75/25, may consider a 60/40 or 50/50 split.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emergency medicine and observation medicine care for patients of all ages and presentations in a demanding, collaborative environment, with varied acuity.
ER procedures.
Focused on compassionate care, team, purpose, and excellence in an ever-evolving clinical arena
Qualifications:
FNP or PA certification required
At minimum, clinical rotation in the ED during NP/PA program required
Emergency medicine or critical care background NP/PA background preferred
