Patient Care Technician I, 3 West - Ortho, CMC
Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Patient Care Technician for the 3 West - Ortho Department at Chilton Medical Center to work 7AM-7:30PM, including 2 weekend shifts per month. Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Assisting patients with activities of daily living; obtaining and recording vital signs, weights and heights; assisting patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities; performing post-mortem care; measuring and recording I & O; performing EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring; observing and reporting changes in patients' condition to the RN; maintaining phlebotomy equipment and inventory and all other duties as assigned. Ensure patient needs and expectations are met in a timely manner.
