Occ Summary
Plan and provide professional nursing care forpatients in accordancewith the medical and nursing plans of care and established policies andprocedures. Provide nursing services to patients andfamilies inaccordance with the scope of the Graduate RN as defined b ythe NorthCarolina Board of Nursing; under the supervision of a Register edNurse.
Work Performed
Plan, provide and document pr ofessional nursing care, utilizing thenursing process, in accordance wit hphysician orders and establishedpolicies and procedures under the super vision of the team leader orcharge nurse.Delegate tasks and supervise th eactivities of other licensed andunlicensedcare providers under the supe rvision of a registered nurse.Assistother healthcare personnel in thede livery of patient care.Participate in maintaining the environment of car eincluding equipmentand material resources. Minimum Qualifications
Education
Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN program. Exception: Registered nurses hired betweenJuly 1, 2014 and April 11, 2021 without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are encouraged to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date but must complete the program within five years of their start date. Registerednurses hired before July 1, 2014 are not required to enroll in a BSN program to remain in this job classification.
