The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides a full range of mental health evaluation and treatment services emphasizing quality, timeliness, and the advancement of the VA mission. The PMHNP provides advanced clinical practice, consultation, management as well as evidence-based care for veterans experiencing schizophrenia, PTSD, substance use and other mental health conditions. The PMHNP practices to the full extent of their education, training, and certification.
