Job Description Patient Care Technician Duties (primary role): As directed by RN, including but not limited to, obtaining and recording vital signs, glucometer testing, cleaning exam and changing rooms after patient visits, setting up exam and changing rooms before patient visits, providing basic wound care (removal/application of dressings, wound/skin cleansing), transportation of patients to/from department, transportation of specimens from wound center to lab, cleaning & disinfecting equipment, and assisting with patient mobility.
