About the Role:

Job Summary

Neuro/Medical is a 36-bed Neuro medical and Intermediate Care nursing unit. As a mixed Neuro unit, care is rendered to a variety of intermediate care neuro patients and standard acute neuro patients including but not limited to:

• Lower to high acuity ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients
• Patients post 25-hour from thrombolytic treatment
• Patients requiring continuous EEG monitoring
• Patients with other neurological disorders such as Guillain-Barre' Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALS
• Patients with hemodynamic instability needing antiarrhythmic
• Chest tube care and management
• Epidural/PCA management
• Tracheostomy care

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.

• Educational Requirements: Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required

• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience - Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire
