Job Summary
Geisinger Wyoming Valley is seeking a full-time Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Job Duties
100% Pulmonary
Provider skill mix: 5 attendings and 3 APs
Provider primarily performs outpatient consultations and occasionally inpatient consultations
See general pulmonary cases such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and post COVID complications
Outpatient appointments are 60 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for follow up visits
The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area is close to various recreational attractions like Kalahari resorts & conventions, Hershey Park and Hotel Hershey, Camelback Resort & Great Wolf Resorts
Shopping, dining, sporting events, concerts, etc all nearby!
Enjoy some of Pennsylvania's best hunting, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking

ABOUT GEISINGER WYOMING VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER: (GWV), located in Wilkes-Barre, PA, is an acute care hospital that is licensed for 274 beds and houses the only Level II trauma center in Luzerne County. The campus includes the Frank M. and Dorothea Henry Cancer Center, The Richard and Marion Pearsall Heart Hospital, the Janet Weis Children's Hospital Pediatric Unit, a transplant program and the Brain & Spine Tumor Institute. Geisinger Wilkes-Barre is GWV's ambulatory campus.
